Making Money and sticking it to The Man

Does it take money to make money? Yes, generally speaking it takes some money but mostly it takes ingenuity and sweat equity. In reality, it takes a middling to good idea (no one thinks the Redbox concept is real earth shattering) that’s marketable and preferably scalable (meaning you can easily reproduce it many times over) and outstanding implementation.

Don't buy into most of these get-rich-quick schemes, and really, don't get into anything new other than your 9 to 5 until you're certain that you are ready to approach things with the right mental attitude. Indeed, as you work your 9 to 5, your first goal should be to begin developing the proper mental mindset required to engage in ANY new endeavor. Only then might you truly follow through in pursuing ventures that might lead to generating multiple streams of revenue – and this is KEY – you want to have several streams of revenue that generate passive income (that’s money constantly flowing into your bank account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week whether you lift a finger or not). To beat The Man, you have to think like The Man.

The end goal for every Ogre should be to stop having to work (in the conventional 9 to 5 sense) while continuosly striving to serve our communities. However, as you continue to work while you develop the ideas that might earn you some money, be sure it’s something you love or something you can make a boatload of cash doing - preferably both. But seldom should you settle for anything else, like a “dead-end” job that pays you peanuts. I say seldom because there might be times when, due to some hardship an Ogre will have to do what an Ogre has to do. Just make sure it’s only a means to an end.

Whatever you're doing now or decide to do to make money, The Ogre is going to impart indispensible wisdom in these pages. To that end, please know these pages are dynamic; the information contained herein, particularly some of the links, will be updated as necessary based on new input from readers or world events but the overriding principles presented will not change, until THE SYSTEM is changed.

Be opulent.
